Big Sam has confirmed that Emre will not be involved on Sunday against West Ham, and neither will left-back Jose Enrique.
Emre seems to be picking his matches, having gone public and said he wants to leave Tyneside and return to Turkey.
He played in both of Turkey's internationals last week, but claims he is not match fit for the visit of West Ham on Sunday.
Emre Missing Once Again!
Allardyce said: "Emre's training, but he's not match fit. He hasn't played all season. In fact, the only games he's played have been for Turkey.
"The same applies to Jose Enrique, who will not be involved on Sunday, but who will go with us next week to Arsenal and Manchester City."
