Emre Deal To Go Ahead AFTER Euro 2008!

Fenerbahce claim on their official website that they have reached an agreement with United and the player.

Emre is currently preparing for Euro 2008 with Turkey.

Newcastle may recoup the majority of the £3.8m fee they paid to Inter three years ago but details of a price are yet to be confirmed by either club. The playmaker was signed by Graeme Souness in 2005.

Emre: "Newcastle have good players and finished the season with a good mentality.

"They are playing football again.

"When Kevin came to Newcastle everybody felt he had brought something different from in the dressing room to out on the pitch.

"Everything has changed for the better because of him."
