The rumour mill has started and anyone and everyone can expect to be linked with the Toon. But Edgar Davids? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!
The Sunday papers talk the biggest load of bollox, but this had us laughing all the way to the pub:
"Newcastle United are being linked with a shock swoop for former Tottenham midfielder Edgar Davids.
"The People says Davids will put on hold a move to Qatar if he can agree terms. It would mean a pay-as-you-play deal for the 35-year-old."
