"Newcastle have won their last ten games at home, so what have we got to lose?" said the Frenchman.
"Okay, we are playing Newcastle but we can do it. We know that we can win against teams like Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester United. We know it - and the other teams know it too.
"The difference between Bolton and the other teams is that we don't feel the fear to be in this position.
"We are not scared - we feel just like last year where we battled and we fought and we survived.
"Now it is the same situation. Everybody is working hard to have success and I think we will be all right in the end."
