Keane: "Honestly I have been in football a long, long time and particularly since I have gone to Sunderland there seems to be a story every week about something."Where do the stories come from? I honestly haven't got a clue. It is just crazy.
"The answer is obviously no. I am very happy and obviously even happier when we win football matches.
"But these stories that I am not happy or that I am resigning is just nonsense."

One lad had a polo shirt with a Mackem club quest alongside a Durham Cricket Club crest, and I couldn't resist asking him "WHY?".
His reply: "Club and county ... they're both from County Durham!"
Oh yeah? "So what about Tyne & Wear?"
He came back with: "That's not a proper county".
