Chris Hughton: "Certainly Carroll was touch and go. He could have played, but we erred on the side of caution.

"He'll be involved in the games from now on.

"With Oba, we need to work him back into training. He's been with the rehab and medical staff.

"The good thing was that he trained very well last week with the rehab guys, and he's had no reaction.

"He'll come into contention providing he doesn't break down, though Saturday is probably too early."
