Wolves are believed to have pulled out of a deal to sign the striker because of his wage demands, while Norwich made their bid to take him on loan too late.
I can’t help thinking that it would have been a good thing for Cort to go on loan and play some first team games, although Sir Bobby is obviously keen to have his full squad available for the title challenge.
Either way it is pleasing that we aren’t helping Wolves in their bid to win promotion.
