Concern Over Toon Pushing Dyer Towards Upton Park?

Curbishley is certainly interested in Dyer, and now the midfielder will be allowed to leave Newcastle United for 'family reasons', following talks with manager Sam Allardyce.

But now is the time to either "put up ... or shut up" and the West Ham boss is thinking seriously about his next move.

Speaking after his side's friendly defeat at Milton Keynes Dons on Wednesday night, Curbishley said: "I'm looking in all areas and it's not very often that a club says that a player is available.

"You normally phone up and get told that people are not available, so it's very difficult, but anything can still happen. The situation is that Kieron wants to leave the club, as I understand it, but I don't know anything else.

"We get linked with a lot of players at the minute and he's one of them."
