Chopra: 'Why I Left Sunderland'!

Chopra: "I made the decision because I like to have challenges in life. And now my challenge at Cardiff is to do better there than I did last time, and I am sure I can do that.

"I don't have to prove anything to anyone, and I have still got a lot of belief in my ability.

"I went to see Bristol City play recently, and I wished I was out there as it looked pretty easy compared to the Premiership.

"I want to play games rather than play in the reserves and pick up the odd appearance fee.

"The next best thing is the Championship, and that's why I have made the move to Cardiff.

"I'm familiar with the club and still speak to one or two players on a daily basis, so it was the ideal choice.

"I'm grateful for being given the chance to go away and sort myself out.

"As the weeks were going on I was getting disappointed at not playing football.

"I want to score goals, and I spoke to the manager a few times about going on loan, but I was told to be patient.

"I haven't thought beyond a loan. I will see how things go. I've got 11 games and we'll see what happens.

"I enjoyed myself last time at Cardiff but couldn't turn down an opportunity to play in the Premier League. The big thing for me now is playing games again."
