Newcastle United play Aston Villa on Friday in the Semi-Final second leg, with the pair all square after a 1-1 draw at Villa Park.

Chelsea are in the final, having beaten Blackburn Rovers home and away (1-0 and 4-0).

Philip Airey put the Magpies ahead 1-0 only for Aston Villa's Kofi Poyser to cancel out his strike.

Philip Airey: "Shearer had so much determination, always scored goals and had the ability to be in the right place at the right time. I try to play like him but he had abilities that you just can't teach.

"Newcastle is the club I have always supported and the club I have always wanted to play for.

"I hope we can play really well and get into The Final. We are strong enough to do it but we have to work well as a team.

"They seem to be a good team and a strong passing side. They had pace down both wings so we will have to be aware of that."
