Charlton Questions: 'What Happened To The Money?'

The former Newcastle and Republic of Ireland manager is no stranger to a touchline ban, picking up a one-game suspension at the 1994 World Cup finals in the United States after clashing with officials.

Jack Charlton: “What he did at Hull was stupid.

“Everybody in football went the same way and said the same thing.

“It's a shame what happened at Hull with the manager. They’ve had a couple of good results and it just shows the way things can be.

“I look forward to the rest of the season actually although we aren’t going to be getting to any cup finals.

"There have been calls from some fans for Pardew to donate his club fine to charity. Where will it go?

“I would agree with the fans who said that (it should go to charity).”

I don't think Pardew has had any say where the money will go; obviously it is in the hands of the owner - Mike Ashley.

You don't get fined then say: "I want the money to go to ..."

Will billionaire Ashley give the money to charity?

It will probably stay in the wages funds, as it would in any other business.
