Let's be honest here ... I'm sure most Burnley fans were GUTTED to hear that Sheff Wed flop Laws was heading to Turf Moor.
But Laws wants Carver to stear him in the right direction.
Plymouth boss Paul Mariner admitted after the game at St James' Park that Laws wants to take his man away from Plymouth.
Paul Mariner: "Yes John has been asked to go to Burnley, but that is all I want to say at the moment.
"Let's talk about the match tonight instead.
"His ( Lovenkrands) timing of his runs is pretty special and his first goal, his finish was fantastic.
"He has a lot of composure in the box. When everybody was getting excited, he was the coolest guy and just chipped it over the keeper. I thought he was terrific."
