Ferreyra has been told he has a clean slate at the club by John Carver.
The Argentine was tipped to leave after failing to win his place in the Toon team following a loan move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
When asked on the striker’s whereabouts, Carver said: “He’s injured at the moment. He’s had a problem with his back, he’s had an injection. I sat everybody on Tuesday morning and said everybody has a clean slate.”
