Manchester City are training at Al Jazira’s Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi from Monday to Thursday with a friendly game against Hamburg at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Newcastle and Stoke will both be on camp in Dubai from Monday to Thursday at Dubai Sports City and the Jebel Ali Centre of Excellence, respectively.

Newcastle are out of the FA Cup Round of 32 this weekend and don’t have a game following a 1-0 third round defeat to Leicester City.

Newcastle United’s interim coach John Carver: “People will be putting two and two together and thinking it’s a jolly.

“But let me tell you it’s no jolly-up. There will be curfews and I will treat the players with respect, but if anyone oversteps the mark or breaks the curfew then they will be fined.”
