With Arsenal revealing their intentions to loan out World Cup star Joel Campbell again, both Everton and Newcastle are preparing to make a possible swoop to acquire his services.
His agent, Roger Lacey, stated that Campbell has attracted the attention of a few Serie A clubs after some fine performances for his national team in Brazil.
“Are Italian teams interested? Yes.
“There are several clubs who are in the top band that have made enquiries about the boy.
“We are talking about a great player here, who has captured everyone’s attention.”
West Ham United and Southampton are also said to be keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old with the hopes of loaning him to their side ahead of new campaign.
