Caldwell committed to the cause

The Scot’s current deal runs out at the end of the season and after his agent had a falling out with the club the offer of a new deal was withdrawn, leaving the defender in limbo.

"There's never been any word from anybody - there's been nothing said," said Caldwell.

"But I can't worry about that, I've just got to think about playing football. I don't know why I haven't been offered a contract but it's still my dream to play here.

"I just love it so much. Maybe I'll be here next season or maybe I won't. At the moment I'm living a dream and all I can do is put in a solid performance."

Lets hope that the club can reach an agreement with Caldwell, as at the moment he seems to be the best centre half at the club.
