The former Toon assistant manager (pictured next to Joe Kinnear) cut a relaxed figure in the Shielfield Park dugout despite doubts over whether he will lead Hibs into the Clydesdale Bank Premier League season.
Calderwood is believed to be wanted by both Birmingham and Nottingham Forest for an assistant manager's role with Hibs continuing to decline to comment on the situation.
