Craig Bellamy, Jonathan Woodgate and Kieron Dyer are all still unavailable but Andy Griffin is fit to return, possibly at the expense of Olivier Bernard who suffered a dead leg at the weekend.
Steve Harper has already been told that he will start the game in place of Shay Given but there is no news of which other squad players will be used. However, with no Dyer or Bowyer the stage could be set for Nobby Solano’s return.
Interestingly there is no place in the squad for Carl Cort, who is rumoured to be a loan target for the Division One leaders.
No squad announcement from the Baggies yet, but the excellent Jason Koumas is reported to have shaken off an ankle injury and will play.
