Boro Boys Heading To Toon?

The Daily Mail claims Mike Ashley may go for former England manager Terry Venables and his old Boro buddy Bryan Robson, on a temporary basis.
Terry was offered the job before Kinnear, but he turned it down because there was no guarantee he would be in the job long term.

So what has changed? The offer will only be "temporary" ... unless Ashley knows something we don't about Kinnear.

With Kevin Keegan trying to sue Ashley for £9m, and Kinnear with a three and a half year contract still on his table, Newcastle are STILL looking for a team boss, so Ashley's luck is certainly out.

Venables will not take the job, and you can quote us on that.

Geordie-boy Robson could, however.

He's out of a job and would certainly better be a better bet than Chris Hughton and Colin Calderwood, who are currently taking over first team duties.
