"As always there will be speculation surrounding this club, but I can tell you that one is most definitely a non-starter.
"We have lost a big player because Hatem Ben Arfa could play in so many positions – on the left or right of midfield or just behind a striker – but I don’t see the need to change our plans for January.
"It hasn’t changed our thoughts on what we have got in the squad already, and I believe the players we have are good enough to make their mark, as they have shown already."
