Bizarre New Rule Would Have Hit Newcastle!

The League looked into the proposal this summer as part of their debate on substitutes, which saw them increase the number of replacements available from five to seven.

Currently, 14 Premier League clubs, a two-thirds majority, would be needed to pass such a rule.

The problem is - and this maybe too difficult for the Premier League idiots to absorb - last season Newcastle had two academy graduates in their starting line up (many times), but Newcastle would have fallen foul of the rule because that would not count ... THEY HAVE TO BE ON THE BENCH!
