Beye Out For Eight Weeks But Bassong Back!

Beye was injured by Wigan Athletic's Lee Cattermole in the 2-1 defeat at the JJB Stadium, and is still on crutches.

Bassong was dismissed in that game, and served a one-game ban on Sunday.

Joe Kinnear: "It'll be a big boost to get him back.

"We did miss him against Liverpool, and he can come back stronger.

"It's like Emergency Ward 10! It was like the walking wounded coming out of the dressing room on Sunday night."
