So, although the scoreline was a shock (and John Beresford said to us after the match "that result wasn't even on the coupon!"), Larsson says the result was no fluke.
Larsson: "We are delighted with the result, of course we are. I don't think anyone would have expected 5-1 away to Newcastle and put a bet on that.
"We kind of went into it to enjoy ourselves as the league is our priority, no doubt. But you always want to play at big clubs like Newcastle and perform like that. I think we are a good footballing team and against someone like Newcastle, who like to pass the ball as well, it probably suits us better.
"In the Championship, your style has to be a bit different and you always know the kind of physical game you are going to get from the other teams. There is a bit more time to play and get on the ball against Premiership opposition and we showed that we are capable of doing that.
"Even before the sending-off we were creating a lot of chances and causing them a lot of trouble. We could have scored more goals, we certainly deserved it. We weren't lucky, it's not as if it was close and we only just got through to the next round."
