Inter lost the Milan derby 1-0 thanks to a Serginho goal after 13 minutes and have slipped to third in Serie A.

Barcelona drew 0-0 with Real Madrid and have slipped to eighth in Primera Liga and could fall as low as 15th after Sunday’s fixtures. The game was marred by crowd trouble and the referee had to take the players off the pitch at one point after Luis Figo was pelted with bottles.

Bayer Leverkusen slipped to 11th in the Bundesliga after a 2-2 draw at lowly Arminia. Thomas Bradaric and Boris Zivkovic twice put Leverkusen ahead, only for Artur Wichniarek to net two equalisers.
