Back-Stabbing Kinnear Wants Keegan Out Of The Picture!

Kinnear has questioned Kevin Keegan's version of his departure from St James' Park.

Kinnear: "I could tell you lots of things about that. You will have to wait and see. You might be pleasantly surprised.

"You are [making an assumption] like most of the journalists up here.

"Seventy-five per cent of you are wrong. Wait until you see the statements, that is all I am saying. All will be revealed."

Kinnear has kissed Mike Ashley's arse from the day he walked into the club ... desperate to revive a managerial career that died at Nottingham Forest more than four years ago.

Kinnear: "If Mike Ashley came to me and said, 'Hey Joe, I'm not selling the club until the end of the season', I would say, 'Here are a few players I think will improve the team and guarantee you will be selling the club as a Premier League club'."

I don't know about 75% of the Toon Army being wrong, but I do know 75% are starting to wonder what the ex-Womble has up his sleeve.

Only three days ago Kinnear said he would walk away from the club unless Ashley improved his contract (and the Chronicle printed the quote).

Today he insists he's committed to his job at Newcastle United, although he threw into the pot alleged interest from Queens Park Rangers, which we proved yesterday was absolute bollox!

His latest interview with the Evening Chronicle: "Nothing else has crossed my mind but being successful here.

"I have never been frightened to make decisions. If I didn't have that attitude there would be no point in being here."

Joe Kinnear is starting to come across as a very strange individual.

Obviously his has his own interests at heart ... but he is "backing a loser" if he seriously thinks he can convince Ashley to stick with the club, and the fans will "forgive and forget" JUST to back Kinnear.

They tolerate him because he is all we have! What is the alternative?
