Ashley Will NOT Bow To Toon Pressure!

Angry fans on Tyneside have had their fill of the Newcastle owner letting the club slip into such a mess, but he refuses to budge, and reports from London suggest he is happy to let the club wallow in the shit.

The harsh reality for Newcastle fans is that Ashley and Seymour Pierce are struggling to sell the club, especially at the asking price of £100m.

And Ashley REFUSES to drop the price.

Reports from the capital suggest that interested parties have given up the ghost, and each and every one won't pay £100m ... knowing the new manager will want transfer funds.

With Oba Martins moving on for £9m (allegedly) and other star players capable of going to total a tidy figure in excess of £20m ... some thought Ashley would pocket the dosh and drop the price to £70m

But that does not seem to be the case.

Conflicting reports from London and investment banker Keith Harris today only added to the confusion, with the Magpies heading to West Brom in just three days’ time in turmoil and managerless, over 70 days since going on the market after relegation.

Harris claimed that a sale “might go through before the end of the month”, before adding: “Newcastle are clearly not going to be sold before 5.30 on Saturday.

“But I’m hopeful something might be done at the end of the month."

But Newcastle fans have grown tired of the Seymour Pierce statements, each and every one a load of BULLSHIT, as none have not come to fruition.

And reports from London also claim that Ashley is contemplating maintaining possession of United.

Ashley’s PR spokesman Jonathan Brill told the Chronicle today: “The status remains the same. Mike is still hopeful something will happen. But if it doesn’t happen, then Mike will remain there.

“You have to look at it and say if it isn’t sold, then what other choice does he have?”
