Ashley Had Better Go Into Hiding If Toon Lose Tonight!

Having been knocked back by Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp, the Toon Army are getting rather sick of the way the club is being run at the moment.

They've been joined by Ashley on the terraces for many away games this season, and he now knows who they want to replace Sam Allardyce.

But Ashley insists he will make the choice with his head rather than his heart.

It will be a man with experience, and Shearer has been told he can forget it, even though the Geordie legend is the number one choice of the majority of the fans.

The 6-0 defeat by Manchester United was tough to take, and a defeat tonight by lower league Stoke City in the FA Cup would have St James' Park rocking with Shearer's name.

The fans want FA Cup glory, and defeat would be another humiliation. Perhaps one humiliation too much.

The fans had their fill with the old board of directors under the leadership of Lord Westwood, Gordon McKeig and Freddy Shepherd.

And having seen what is happening at Anfield and Stamford Bridge (Mourinho sacked and Benitez on his way) with new owners rocking the boat, Ashley could find himself a target if things are not sorted out soon.
