Ashley Gives Sam A Day's Grace!

The Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley says Sam Allardyce's future as Magpies manager will NOT be decided by the outcome of the crucial clash with Arsenal.

The Gunners are unbeaten this season, riding high at the top of the Premiership, and it is no disaster if they continue their unbeaten run.

Newcastle's billionaire owner is not going to heap any more pressure on Allardyce ahead of an already testing encounter with Arsene Wenger's men.

Ashley: "I'll be at the game and there is nothing to in the suggestion that it all comes to and end with Sam if we lose to Arsenal. That's nonsense".

However, Ashley has stopped short of giving the former Bolton boss a vote of confidence.

With some bookies going as far as having the Toon 7/1 to win tonight, now could be the time to slap a few bob on a Geordie win.

Arsenal players have often gone public and said they don't like visiting St James' Park in winter.

This is a Wednesday evening fixture, bad weather forecast, and the Cockney Samba boys will probably wearing more clothes than Paddington Bear.

I maybe talking out of my backside ... but I REALLY fancy us tonight!

If you can get 7/1, stick a tenner on the Toon.
