Ashley Doesn't Understand The Hatred!

The vast majority of United fans hope to push Ashley into a corner where he will be forced to look for a buyer.

There has already been interest shown by a number of overseas consortia and the fans want an end to his ownership of the club.

Ashley is on the drink in the States, and he has no idea of the strength of feeling against his United regime.

But The Journal claims: "although Ashley may not be having the fun he envisaged when he first took control of the club, but his business history would suggest he is also willing to ride out a storm.

"The board members who upset Keegan will also have the stomach for the fight. Managing director Derek Llambias, executive director (football) Dennis Wise and head of recruitment Tony Jimenez will not be at all fazed by the angry reaction to Keegan's departure.

"As has become the norm since Llambias arrived at St James's Park in June, there was no word from the United hierarchy on the managerial vacancy yesterday and that is not expected to change.

"Indeed, Wise and Jimenez were not even on Tyneside, while Ashley is in America, so they will not have been affected by the mood of discontent which has gripped the city."

Personally I believe we will have new owners ... sooner rather than later.

We at NUMad have a past history of "upsetting" Mr Ashley, and more than once he has had his SJP PR on our case.

The truth is ... we had him sussed from almost the first day he took over at the club.

OK, there was glee at getting rid of "Toot and Ploot" - Freddie Shepherd and Douglas Hall - but Ashley never came across as a "football man" ... and Shepherd (despite his strange ways) was certainly a Toon fan.

Ashley has had more clubs than Tiger Woods.

And he has been sussed!
