Arsenal looking to challenge

"I think this squad is even better than last year. I have done what I wanted to do in the market over the summer," said the Arsenal manager.

"I have the players I wanted at the right price and also at the quality that is needed, but that is it now.

"I was interested in Marc van Bommel but the price was too high, and now we have Gilberto I'm very excited about the new season.

"We have a very strong squad and we believe that we can do it again."
