Rovers play Tottenham at Ewood Park and it will be the third consecutive home match featuring an organised demonstration against the Scot, who has won only six of his 29 Premier League matches in charge and whose team currently sit bottom of the table.

Fans will march outside Ewood Park prior to kick-off on Sunday afternoon and at the end of the match there will be a sit-in protest in the Ronnie Clayton Stand.

Kean has so far received backing from the club's Indian owners, although banners calling for his dismissal were also displayed at a friendly between Rovers and Pune FC in India last week.

Striker Aiyegbeni Yakubu, meanwhile, insists the players are fully behind Kean and believes the fans can be won around.

He told the BBC: "We just have to stick together and do our job. In the end, those fans will be with us again.

"The protests do affect some players but I just concentrate on doing my job. There is always pressure when the team is not doing well.

"But the pressure isn't on the team when you're losing, it is always going to be put on the manager.

"All the players are behind Steve Kean. When he talks to us in training, we are impressed. It's our job to go out there and win - and that's all we focus on."
