Allardyce Turns The Key
Allardyce said: "The spending power of clubs throughout the Premier League is the greatest that it's ever been in the history of English football and that's why it's going to make it the most difficult it's ever been.
"The top four clubs generally do the spending but now others have joined that bandwagon.
"Newcastle have always tried to spend to get into that top four and we've carried on this year.
"But there are many other clubs who've reached the £20m mark trying to improve their squad."
