Allardyce Has Put Newcastle Back Five Years!

The former Magpies manager told us all how he was going "to make Newcastle as successful as Bolton Wanderers", and that was NOT the way to get off on the right footing.

Bolton, under Big Sam, were the most boring side in the Premiership and he earned his reputation for "grinding out results" when half the crowd had fallen asleep.

He brought that mentality to St James' Park and the Toon Army had him sussed out within five minutes.

He thinks 'tactics' are little white sweets, and despite splashing the cash on a host of players, he never got them to gell.

Out of the FA Cup and League Cup in the early stages; no European football; and still he blamed poor results on "too many games".

And THAT sums up the man! As Manchester United have a "two games a week" mentality, Sam moaned because he had to play ONCE a week.

Look at the performance yesterday (Saturday). Man Utd played a massive FA Cup tie against Arsenal last week, then had a trip to France in the Champions League in midweek, while the Toon players had two weeks to prepare for the game (probably with their feet up).

Did Man Utd drop to their feet exhausted after half-time? Not likely.

Sam has gone ... and now Keegan admits we are in a relegation battle. But I pray the media don't turn on KK for that result against the Premiership champions ... because there is only one man to blame.

In six months Allardyce has put this club back four or five years! A backroom staff of 23, all the mod cons ... and a 'cloth cap and whippet' mentality.

And he says Newcastle don't match his ambitions. Unbelievable!
