Allardyce Defends 'Playing Players Out Of Position'!

Allardyce: "I'm paid to pick where they play - nobody else knows where they should or shouldn't play.

"Other people can have an opinion, but it's not relevant to the situation.

"Charles N'Zogbia is playing left-back for France's Under-21s now. I was told he couldn't play left-back, now he's playing left-back for his country.

"People's perceptions about who should play where do not really make any difference to me.

"The versatility of quite a few players - like Alan Smith, Geremi and Charles N'Zogbia - is going to come into play now.

"The players we have available will mean we have got to try to put them in the best positions possible to do the best we can.

"Hopefully, we'll get a few more fit after this one."
