Mehdi Abeid suffered a a broken toe on international duty with Algeria and is ruled out of Saturday’s match against QPR.

If it is confirmed, he could be sidelined for several weeks.

Fabricio Coloccini limped off at the Hawthorns in our last fixture with a calf problem and was allowed to return to his native Argentina.

However, midfielder Cheik Tiote, defender Steven Taylor and striker Emmanuel Rivierecould be back for the QPR fixture.

Tiote was not involved in the Ivory Coast's 5-1 victory over Sierra Leone this week.
