Ambrose called-up for Euro finals

Although the former Ipswich Town star is already an Under-21 international coach Stuart Baxter has decided to name him in his squad for the tournament that takes place from July 16-26.

England face Austria, France and the Czech Republic in their group while the other group contains the hosts together with Italy, Portugal and Norway.

The news means that Ambrose looks certain to miss the club’s trip to Malaysia for the Asia Cup.
