Many will argue "it's BECAUSE they are injured that the team struggles", while the glassing being half empty people can pick out those players who "don't want to know".

Nobody can point the finger at the likes of Ryan Taylor or Jonas Gutierrez who are unavailable because of serious problems.

But there could be a couple of shurkers amongst the rest.

Facundo Ferreyra doesn't even know what's wrong with himself!

The Magpies sit top of the Premier League’s injury table – with nine players out at the moment.

West Ham and Man Utd are joint second with eight.

Tim Krul’s injury means he joins Daryl Janmaat, Davide Santon, Siem de Jong, Paul Dummett, Rolando Aarons, Curtis Good, Ryan Taylor and Jonas Gutierrez on the list of unavailable players.

Rolando Aarons ready for action?

Winger Rolando Aarons is reportedly hopeful of returning to action against Liverpool at St James' Park on November 1.

The 18-year-old has been out of action since mid-September with a hamstring problem.

According to The Chronicle, Aarons is feeling confident that he will return to fitness within the next fortnight and could be included in Alan Pardew's first team for Liverpool's visit.
