He may be a legend in Brazil, and indeed world football, but Zico is struggling to keep his job in Turkey, the country where second best is simply not good enough.
The 53-year-old brings his Fenerbahce side to Newcastle in the UEFA Cup on Thursday evening, and rumour has it his job is on the line at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
Fenerbahce failed in the Champions League qualifiers and although they currently lie second in the Turkish league, that word "failure" is never far away when your side is not top.
Zico: "It is a very important game, but it is definitely not the most difficult game in the group. It is an important game for Fenerbahce, but it is not the decisive game in the group."
