He was strong, quick, won everything in the air, was fierce in the tackle and used the ball superbly.
The greatest compliment that I can pay the defender is that the man he was marking, Alessandro Del Piero, was almost anonymous.
If Titus can produce this level of performance on a regular basis then he will prove to be one of Robson’s best signings.
If he can improve from here then full international honours are not far away.
Titus proved his doubters (myself included) very wrong on Wednesday night.
