Sorry Sir Bobby - But Ashley's Place Is WITH The Fans!

Ashley, the club's new billionaire owner, has made a point of watching matches in a replica Newcastle shirt in among the supporters.

But Sir Bobby doubts he gets a balanced view there.

Sir Bobby: "He's new to football and wants to see how the fans think.

"It's a great idea but, in my view, has probably served its usefulness now. It might be best for Mr Ashley to put on a suit, step back and start making strategic decisions detached from the groans of diehard supporters."

Sadly the likes of Lord Westwood, Gordon McKeag and Freddy Shepherd should have thought of it first, rather than going head-long into ever decision without consulting the fans.

THAT has been the problem at Newcastle for decades.

Why should Ashley get an "unbalanced view"? I half expected him to join in with the "you don't know what your doing" chants recently, because I'm starting to believe HE sees it as it REALLY is.
