Sam Makes Swift Return To Reebok

As just about every fan in the country is saying right now "oooooh ... that's a tough start", Allardyce will take his new Newcastle team to his old hunting ground on the opening day of the new Premier League season.

Allardyce left the Trotters following eight years at the Reebok Stadium in late April, but he will be back in double quick time.

In other fixtures, which were released this morning, United's opening home fixture is against Arsenal the following Wednesday.

Obviously the first question we all wanted to know was "when do we play the Mackems?". We visit the Stadium Of Shite on Saturday 10th November, and the "unwashed" come to God's Country Saturday 19th April. But don't make plans, they are sure to be changed to Sunday.

During the holiday period we travel to Wigan on Boxing Day, and Everton face the trek East for New Year's Day.

The day we will be presented with the Premiership trophy (the last day of the season) we will be at Manchester City. So book early.

Due to the most ridiculous law in football ... we cannot publish the list on this site. Imagine The Killers or Snow Patrol doing a British tour but not telling anyone where they were playing?

BUT .... you can see the full fixture list here ...
