Pardew Didn't 'Walk' The Way Ashley Hoped!

Kinnear has made a series of bizarre, erroneous claims and PR blunders since being re-appointed by owner Mike Ashley, including falling out with Toon legend Alan Shearer and suggesting that he is “more intelligent” than the long-suffering Magpies fans.

While Kinnear has since attempted to appease supporters in an interview with local newspaper the Chronicle, it is the nature of his relationship with Pardew that will provide plenty of intrigue in the coming months.

The former West Ham boss has maintained a dignified silence throughout the media furore that has surrounded the latest developments on Tyneside but Kinnear’s return will surely create friction between the pair.

The bottom line is simple - Mike Ashley brought in Kinnear in the hope to get Pardew to walk out of the club and rip up his eight-year contract.

It worked with Kevin Keegan (when Dennis Wise was drafted in), but it looks as though Pardew has a bigger need for the money than KK ever did ... and Keegan has a bigger sense of PRIDE than Pards has.

Pardew is sat on the longest contract in English football, and if Ashley was an idiot to make the ridiculous offer, the former West Ham boss will let him stew on it.

Personally I'd be happy to see the back of Pardew because I don't think the man is up to the job.

Last season was a disaster, and never once did the manager blame himself for the situation he got us into, despite horrendous tactical changes and team selection.

Under normal circumstances he would have been sacked, but one thing saved him ... Ashley would have to pay up his contract.

But now Ashley has a DOUBLE-edged problem.

He has given Kinnear a three-year deal, which defies belief, and we will have to see what happens next.

Can the pair work together? They are certainly going to have to give it a try, even though Pardew is sat on a time-bomb.

He has long been Ashley's puppet, but now he is Kinnears 'arse wipe', and how long can a person go on like that?

Will Pardew's pride get the better of him? Under normal circumstances the average man would fight back.

Pardew isn't like that ... he is spineless ... and that's why I believe he will go through his career without winning any of the big three trophies in England.

As for Europe? He is PETRIFIED by it!

Didn't he say last month: "Thank God we are not in Europe next season!"
