Madine shot to prominence as part of the Carlisle team which knocked Manchester United out of this season's FA Youth Cup.

This season the Magpies have adopted a policy of recruiting the best youths from around the world to make up for the shortcomings in their own academy.

Englishman Ben Tozer, Hungarian Tamas Kadar, French-born Wesley Ngo Baheng, Italian Fabio Zamblera and Swede Ole Soderberg all joined at the turn of the year as part of the process.

Madine, however, will not be joining them according to the Cumbrians.
