According to a report from North London, the France international wants to leave White Hart Lane and he would be happy to move to Tyneside.

The former Wigan defender knows he is no longer a first team regular under new boss Juande Ramos and would welcome the move to St James' Park.

But Ramos is wanting more than £2m as he continues rebuilding.
