Zulte coach Francky Dury says the Mags face a much sterner test in the next round.
Dury: "AZ have a great coach. Louis van Gaal is a master in football, so when you play against AZ, beware. I am a coach in football; Van Gaal is a master!
"Newcastle can go a long way in this competition, but beware AZ because they are a Dutch team who play technically much better football than us."
Glenn Roeder: "We know we can, that is the good thing. It is only a week or two ago that we beat Liverpool here.
"We know we can attain that level, and I am sure against AZ, we will have to do that and we will do that.
"Sometimes it is more difficult playing teams you are obviously a lot better than, although as I said to the players after the game, that is a fairly weak excuse.
"We have to find a way of playing to the highest standard possible week in, week out whoever we are playing."
