Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff has won Match of the Day’s October Goal of the Month award for his winning strike against Manchester United, as reported on the Chronicle.
The midfielder struck superbly on his debut to hand his team a famous win over the Red Devils and Longstaff finished with the most votes on BBC’s MOTD show.
He finished with 22% of the votes, above Jay Rodriguez who netted a stunner against Chelsea and Anthony Martial for his neat chip against Norwich City.
