The dynamite bald little player arrived from Greece in 1997 to play 109 times for the Toon (but 51 were as substitute), and he will play once more as he signs up to play in the Masters Football tournament.

Known on the terraces as 'Forest Gump' because he tended to head in one direction with his head down, but was always more dangerous when he came on as substitute.

The Georgian international will forever be a Toon favourite, remembered best for kicking the advertising boards at the back of the Gallogate End goal!

The fact he spent a lot of time on the bench became a big frustration to him and in one game when he was introduced as sub ... and scored ... ran behind the Gallowgate End goal to knock seven bells out of the woodwork, and even flattened Alessandro Pistone (which wasn't a bad thing).

The former Georgia international is in the Newcastle squad for this Sunday's Screwfix Northern Masters.

Currently managing Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta FC, Ketsbaia, 40, left Newcastle to join Wolves in 2000.
