Peter Løvenkrands: “That’s the way it is. It’s good.

"Even though I did well (at Nottingham Forest) I knew I probably wasn’t going to start on the Saturday because the other two (Leon Best and Demba Ba) had done fantastic.

“You just need to wait for your chance and when it comes try to take it as best you can.

“It’s not the first time I’ve been in this situation so I know what to do. I hope if I get my chance again I’ll grab it like I normally do.

“You’re dying to show yourself what you can do. I know what I can do and I’ve proved what I can do, so I know if I’m called upon I’m ready.

"Nobody can get to me when I get on. I’m just trying to concentrate as much as I can on the team.

“If we get three points, it doesn’t matter who plays.

“Sometimes you have those games where you fight so hard and you don’t get a win and they nick it in the end. Against Wolves we were on the other side and we got it (the win).

“They hammered us. They got a lot of balls into the box and we dealt with it. We got a bit lucky maybe but we got three points in the end.

“There’s been games beforehand where we’ve had that and we didn’t win. Hopefully it can be a turning point.

“Tim (Krul) was outstanding against Wolves. We were sitting on the bench watching and he was fantastic. He’s a young boy who’s been waiting so long for his opportunity. Now he’s really proving himself.

“A lot of the boys had to be thankful for him on Saturday because he was fantastic, outstanding.

“As for our defence, Tayls (Steven Taylor) has always been like that. Even in training he’s a pain in the you-know-what but he’s fantastic.

“I always play against him in training and he’s not a nice guy to play against. He carries that onto the pitch and he’s been fantastic for us this season.

“I really think (Fabio) Capello should look at him. He’s a fantastic defender and I really hope he gets his chance.

“They clean up so much at the back it gives us an opportunity to go forward as we normally do.

“That’s shown by how many clean sheets we’ve had (three in the league) and so many games we’ve won 1-0.

“For us going forward we know we have security at the back and it helps a lot.”
