It must be a concern to the Dutch camp, who are heading to Euro 2012 in a few weeks time, in the toughest group of the four.
The Netherlands are up against Germany, Portugal and Denmark in the "Group of death", and they can well do without internal bickering.
Alan Pardew: "Tim has suggested it is all forgotten, I am sure Van Persie is the same.
"It would perhaps be nice for Van Persie to call him and being the senior figure, which he is in the Dutch camp, say he perhaps got over-exuberant, and we can all move on."
