Keegan Hits Out At 'Boring League' As Top Four Becomes Top Two!

Keegan said last night the Premier League is in danger of "becoming the most boring great league in the world".

Arsenal and Liverpool may regard themselves as being part of the "Top Four", but both the Gunners and Reds have won nothing again this season.

No cups means no success ... and qualifying for Europe is no longer seen as success.

Newcastle qualify for the FA Cup every season, but they haven't won it since 1955 (as many keep reminding us), so qualifying for a competition is no guarantee anyone is going to win it.

The Newcastle boss has admitted his club have "no chance" of breaking the dominance of the top four during his reign.

Keegan: "We are a million miles away. This league is in danger of becoming one of the most boring great leagues in the world - the top four have broken away.

"Maybe the owner thinks we can bridge the gap but we just can't."
